At Fat Sam’s Ice Creams, our iconic vans aren’t just for serving scoops at summer events, they’ve been turning heads on film sets and music video shoots too. With two notable media credits already under our belt, we’re ready to bring our classic vans to your next production.
Lights, Camera, Ice Cream!
In 2018, one of our traditional ice cream vans made its big-screen debut in Patrick, the beloved British comedy starring Jennifer Saunders. The van, and its owner Sam, appeared in a charming school fete scene, adding an authentically British touch to the film’s warm, nostalgic atmosphere. It’s exactly the kind of detail that makes a scene feel real, and we were proud to be part of it.
More recently, our van “G” traded its ice cream hatch for a DJ booth when it was hired to feature in a music video for D Double E’s collaboration with Gorgon City. The result? A visually striking, creative concept that only a classic ice cream van could pull off.
