Fundraising is at the heart of many school communities, helping to pay for equipment, trips, resources and activities that make a real difference to pupils. If you’re part of a PTA, Friends of the School group, or school fundraising team, Fat Sam’s Ice Cream’s offer a simple, enjoyable way to boost your fundraising efforts.
Our ice cream vans are a popular addition to school fetes, summer fun days, sports days, firework nights, Christmas fairs and end-of-term celebrations. Ice cream appeals to all ages, making it a reliable crowd-pleaser that encourages families to stay longer and spend more at your event.
What makes Fat Sam’s especially well suited to fundraising events is our commitment to giving back. We donate a percentage of our earnings from your event directly to your fundraising cause. It’s our way of saying thank you for inviting us along.
We understand that organising fundraising events takes time and effort, and is often done by volunteers. That’s why we aim to make things as straightforward as possible. Our team is experienced in working with schools, understands set event times, and we are happy to provide any required documentation in advance. We also cater for a range of dietary needs, so everyone can take part.
An ice cream van creates a focal point at your event, encourages conversation, and adds a sense of celebration, whether it’s children enjoying a treat after sports day or families enjoying a firework display. Many PTAs tell us that having Fat Sam’s attend helps increase overall footfall and creates a positive atmosphere that people remember.
If you’re planning a fundraising event and want something that’s easy to organise, popular with families, and genuinely supports your cause, Fat Sam’s Ice Creams are here to help.
